CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

 

CANCELLATIONS 

If you need to cancel your car rental reservation with Mirage, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled pickup time. 

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to one day’s rental charge. 

You can modify your booking by canceling the previous reservation and making a new one under the standard terms. Please be aware that if you cancel your reservation, the car you had previously reserved becomes accessible to other customers. 

 

NO-SHOW POLICY 

If you fail to pick up your rental car without prior cancellation notification, it will be considered a “no-show”.  

A "no-show" occurs when you: 

  • If you need to cancel but haven't notified us before the start of your rental, or 
  • Not present the necessary paperwork to rent the vehicle, or 
  • Neglect to get the vehicle on the scheduled time and date, or 
  • Neglect to present a credit card bearing the primary driver's identity and sufficient balance 

You won't get your money back in any of these situations. If a customer does not show up on time with the required paperwork and a credit card that has enough money on it to cover the car's deposit, the car rental business has the right to deny them usage of the vehicle. 

 

REFUNDS & RETURNS 

Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment. 

If you cancel your reservation within the specified time frame and are eligible for a refund, we will process it according to the following guidelines: 

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance of the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund of the rental amount. 
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time may be eligible for a partial refund, minus the one-day rental cancellation fee. 
  • Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original reservation. 

 

VEHICLE RETURNS 

Rental periods are all estimated on a 24-hour basis.  

  • Two hours are granted for returning the vehicle. Any delay of more than two hours will be considered an entire day. 
  • The renter must abide by the period mentioned in the contract. If the vehicle is returned before this period, the renter cannot take the rental amount for the remaining period. 
  • The vehicle cannot be returned during the official holidays. Otherwise, the renter pays the rental amount for an extra day. 
  • The vehicle must be returned with the same level of fuel as at the time of rental. In case the fuel level is less, the renter pays the fuel price. 
  • If the booking is canceled, the renter must pay the rate of the reservation period.
