Terms and Conditions


To get a clear understanding of our products/services, please carefully read our terms and conditions. 

Every product name, logo, and brand belong to its rightful owner. The names of any companies, products, or services mentioned on this website are solely used for identification. It is not implied that these names, logos, or brands are endorsed. 

  1. The vehicle shall be provided to the renter with no damages or flaws and in the best possible overall condition. 
  2. Any visible flaws that exist when the vehicle is delivered will be noted and recorded. 

  

Please note that: 

  1. Mirage will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the laws of UAE. 
  2. Any purchase, dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE. 

  

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS 

Residents of the UAE: 

  • UAE Driver's License 
  • Emirates ID  
  • Passport with residence visa  
  • Credit card* (valid for at least the next three months) 

  

Non-residents: 

  • A valid driver's license from their country of origin, an international driving permit, or a GCC driver's license 
  • Passport with entry stamp 
  • Credit card* (valid for at least the next three months) 

  

RENTAL CONDITIONS  

  1. In the event of an accident, the renter will be held entirely liable if they remove the vehicle from the scene before the police have finished their inspection and if they fail to provide the rental office with the necessary paperwork on time. 
  2. If an accident, mechanical issue, or other problem arises as a result of the hirer's carelessness, negligence, or malicious intent, the hirer bears the financial responsibility for repairs and daily rent during the time that the hirer is unable to work. The hirer also has an obligation to notify the rental office right away. It is forbidden for the renter to fix the car without first letting the rental agency know. 
  3. The hirer agrees to keep enough water and oil in the car, and the vehicle must be returned to the rental office in excellent condition as stated in the attached check-out list. If the hirer returns the car dirty, he will be responsible for paying cleaning fees. 
  4. The hirer is responsible for any damage to the vehicle resulting from using the vehicle for off-road driving, racing, rallies, competitions, entering desert areas, or any other activity that could cause damage. The hirer must return the vehicle to the office for periodic services. 
  5. Hirer is solely liable if he uses the car to transport any prohibited items inside the United Arab Emirates. He is also accountable for any complement, case, or duties pertaining to the vehicle before the office or the official authorities that arise during the hiring. Until a mutually agreeable solution is established, the hirer shall additionally pay the entire contract sum. 

  

LICENSING REQUIREMENTS  

  1. The minimum age to operate a vehicle is 21 years old, and for sport automobiles, 23 years old. 
  2. Before renting a car, our sales team will verify that the driver's license is legitimate. Drivers must have a valid international or national (local) driver's license; certain local licenses are not allowed. 
  3. When operating a vehicle, drivers cannot be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Driving while intoxicated will result in the denial of all insurance claims, and you will be liable for any subsequent damage repairs. 
  4. You are primarily in charge of making sure you are qualified to operate a rental car in accordance with UAE law. 

  

METHOD OF PAYMENT, CARD TYPES ACCEPTED AND CURRENCY 

We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in AED.  

  

DELIVERY & SHIPPING POLICY  

Delivery services are included in all bookings made with Mirage, depending on the selected options. Additionally, a client has the option to self-pick the vehicle from the rental facility.  

It is important to note that a customer provides the necessary paperwork that they have submitted online to the service person who is handing over the automobile, regardless of the type of car handover method used for car rental services. 

  

INSURANCE COVERAGE  

In compliance with an automotive liability insurance policy in the United Arab Emirates, which is open for examination upon written request, the lessor offers insurance coverage for the permitted drivers of the vehicle (and not for anybody else). 

  

SUBORDINATION TO JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW 

The laws of the United Arab Emirates, as they are implemented in the Emirate of Dubai, govern this Agreement and shall be followed in its interpretation. The competent courts of the Emirate of Dubai will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim, disagreement, or controversy arising out of or related to this Agreement.
